Positive Behaviour Support III
Description
Functional Behaviour Assessment & Intervetion: An advanced workshop for learning behavioural science and applications. This workshop is recommended for DDRC staff who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the behavioural psychology of client support for challenging behaviour.
Who should attend?
Optional course that provides valuable opportunities to further develop behaviour support skills.
Disclaimer
Prior to course date - If a registrant cannot attend a course
- Up to 7 days prior to the commencement of the course, the People Manager can request the DDRC Training Coordinator to transfer the individual to the next available course date
- If less than 7 days prior to the commencement of the course, the individual must contact their direct People Manager immediately to notify the reason they are unable to attend the course
- People Manager will email DDRC Training training@ddrc.ca promptly
Day of course - If a registrant cannot attend a course
- At least 1-hour prior to the commencement of the course - the registrant MUST call the DDRC office at 403-240-3111 and request to speak with the Training Coordinator or their designate
- LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED (15 minutes after commencing no further admittance)
- Failure to attend a DDRC Mandatory Training course will result in a $50 fee to the registrant
Prerequisites
Must have PBS I before taking PBS III.
